We are excited to share with you the status of our expansion effort.  The Lord has blessed us with substantial growth over the last several years, and we have quite frankly outgrown our facilities.  In response to this need, and providing for additional growth in the future, we have begun construction of a 6000 square foot fellowship hall which will be connected to the church by two covered walkways.  The new hall will add five new Sunday School classrooms, a large warming kitchen, and a 3600 square foot dining / fellowship space.

Our motto, as we work through the construction phase, is "Building for Christ".  Our intent is not to simply provide comfort for our existing congregation.  We take the Great Commission seriously, and want to reach as many of our neighbors for the Lord as possible.  This project will allow us to do that in a mighty way.

Please check out the photo albums listed above.  We will add more as construction proceeds.

October 15, 2016:  The preliminary grading has been completed, the footers have been dug and poured.

October 22, 2016   The block and brick are beginning to show above the footers. The electricians and plumbers are finishing the underground piping and conduit runs. Very soon we expect the concrete slab to be poured. Also, we hope to have a new well along with a new septic system. We are awaiting the return of bids for these stages. It is an exciting process. Enjoy the new progress. There is a temporary ramp in place that will be used until the new ramp is constructed.

November 4, 2016 The construction is now preparing for the concrete pad to be poured the week of November 7. After the concete is poured the framing of the walls will make the building seem to grow upward. Then the task of geting the framing to the point that roof trusses are in place and we have a roof. This is exciting. Praise the Lord for the progress and His plans.

November 19, 2016 This week has been a very productive week. The framers have almost completed the truss instalation. The front concrete walkway has been poured and the bases for the columns has been installed. Over the next few days the windors will be delivered and the wall will beging to take shape. Once the sheathing is on the roof the shingles will follow shortly. The interior walls are taking shape. Happy Thanksgiving. Amen.

November 26, 2016 The roof trusses are complete. This week should see the roofers doing their job and working to dry in our building. The plumbers are busy running the water lines and getting ready to set the new bathrooms in place. On Monday November 28, the work on the new septic system will begin. The windows have been received. Work is going well. The fellowship hall is taking shape. Praise the Lord!

December 6, 2016  Work has begun on the drainfield.  Both porticos are in place, and there is tar paper on the roof.   The well will be drilled soon, so prep work has begun in the church basement, where the well pump and pressure tank will be.

February 19, 2017  Sorry for the gap in reporting.  The project is moving at a great pace, and we are even a bit ahead of schedule.  As the photos show, the well has been drilled, the siding is pretty much complete, the parking lot is in the process of being graded and filled with gravel, the drywall is in, finished, primed, and ready for final paint.   The ooutdoor posts have been wrapped with AZEK board and trim.   We expect to have an occupancy permit in the next 4-6 weeks.  Praise God!
